As you can see by the picture, he was able to let the Dentist clean his teeth today!!! This has been the hardest thing for him to overcome, but slowly we are making progress. He will still have to go back next month and they are going to have to scrap alot of tartar off his teeth, but today they were able to brush them. He was still a little scared and kept asking if they were going to yank out a tooth (he asks by acting it out). I tell him no, and then the dentist had to reassure him too. He got in the chair and kept saying, "Mommy, here? Mommy, here?" and pointed right next to him, so I sat next to the chair. There were no tears and when it was all over he was so excited and proud of himself! He still can't get over all the little prizes that he gets whenever he leaves the doctors and dentists. He's not quite sure yet why he gets these, but he gladly accepts them!

Excellent. That is certainly progress. Big Jon & I have our first youth group outing tonight. Should be fun -- see what your brother-in-law talks us into : )
What a day for Ty! First, he goes to the dentist, then he falls into the swimming pool, then he knocks another tooth out, and finishes up with a haircut...no tears this time! Every day is a BIG day for Ty!
