Cold!

I was sad to see the warm weather disappear and so were the kids! Isaac and Ty both had shorts on this morning. I explained to them that it was going to be cold today and Isaac went and changed, but Ty wouldn't change from his shorts, no matter what anyone said, so I let it go. After breakfast he and Isaac went running outside to play and boy did they get a rude awakening.... 40 degrees today as opposed to 80 yesterday! They were both freezing in a minute and came running back to the house. When I looked again, Ty was back outside trying to tell Minnie (the dog) that it was cold and she needed to come inside. That was funny... he was using all the body language he could and even some English, but she wouldn't budge. Finally, he gave up and came inside. He had his friends from Ethiopia over today and they had a good time. They had to go outside and ride bikes even if only for a short time! You would think that they would be more sensitive to the cold, but it sure doesn't seem to bother them.
