I can't believe we had forgotten to introduce him to Dairy Queen before today! Every kid in America knows what a Dairy Queen ice cream cone is, but today when I gave Ty one, he just looked at me and said, "Mommy???" He didn't know what to do with it. We started laughing and tried to tell him to lick the ice cream off the cone. Isaac then demonstrated, and after Ty tried it once he was hooked!
El and I were talking the other night about how well he has fit into our family and it's hard to believe that he has just been here for only about 3 weeks. It seems like much longer. Even tonight we went over to my parents house to watch last nights Ohio State game... I can't believe we missed it!!!... thanks to Tivo we were able to watch it tonight. When we got there Ty started asking for Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Paul... he loves laughing at his Uncle Paul. We haven't figured out what is so funny about Paul yet, but he sure sends Ty into fits of laughter when he looks at him. :-) Tonight we ate Chipotle and more ice cream for dessert (I told you we liked our desserts). He is becoming Americanized quite well. You should have seen him when he saw Isaac ask for more ice cream and get some more... his eye's lit up and he said, "more please". When I gave him his 1st scoop he started laughing and saying, "Whoa, ha ha ha, whoa!!!" and then came the 2nd scoop and he just went crazy! He went to the couch and just kept laughing and saying, "it's good, it's cold". Then he played with the dogs and wrestled with Grandpa. Most of the kids are scared of Grandpa but Ty keeps going back for more. He loves to be tickled and is very ticklish!
