Colors!

Here's Ty working on his colors. He loves this toy, which he borrowed from Grandma! He really likes to talk about colors and learn all the names of his crayons. Today while I was working with Kayla, he was sitting on the floor sorting marbles according to their colors. I was pretty impressed.

Today was a pretty average day. He spent the whole morning riding his bike at his cousin's house. When we got home, I took his bike out of the car, and he said, "All done". I thought I would never hear those words come out of his mouth (at least when it came to his bike). He was so tired he came inside and laid down on the floor. I asked him if he wanted to go to sleep and he shook his head "yes". I have NEVER ever had one of my children say that they wanted to go to bed. I have only heard stories about children that actually do that, but until today, have never had the pleasure of having one of my children ask to go to bed! It was a thrilling moment, but after about an hour, he was back up and outside riding his bike and playing with the neighbors.

After dinner, we took the kids to see Charlotte's Web, the movie. I believe it was his first movie ever and he really enjoyed it. Through the whole movie he sat and watched with huge eyes, taking it all in. I would love to know what was going through his mind while he was watching the movie, and how much of the English he was able to understand.
