Here’s a second post in arrears. I promise to catch up.

In U.S. time it’s about 6:30AM. The plane took off at about 9:00PM. About an hour into our flight they began serving dinner (I guess it was a good thing I ate such a hearty meal before I got on the plane :-), if you know what I mean.). Four hours after dinner, they served this “incredible” breakfast… I hardly could finish it up. Again, was I glad I had eaten at Moe’s!!! We just left Rome, where we had to stop to refuel and get a new and refreshed crew. It took about an hour and a half before we got off the ground and believe me… nothing exciting happened. Talk about a boring flight…?!!! I could hardly sleep, and couldn’t watch any movies. Yep… my video monitor was broken; and it appears that mine wasn’t the only one (I think Mark and Sheri also got a bad deal with their video monitors). If I think about it, there was actually one thing that was very nice – I was able to exchange my assigned seat to an exit seat… with plenty of leg room to stretch and no one to bother if I needed to get up and walk. Before I was able to get the seats exchanged I couldn’t stop thinking about how much my knees were going to hurt during that 15-hour long flight. You know… being an old guy and such… having long legs with arthritis in the knees (yes… I have arthritis) you can’t imagine my excitement when I got that seat!!!
Well… it’s not all that bad, because all the pros about going and getting Fitsum, far outweigh any cons about this flight. I know many people have been praying for me while I’m on this flight. You can’t imagine how much I appreciate your prayers! Thank You!
