Around 5:00 we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner.....how could we resist.....they were having beef tenderloin! Which by the way, Fitsum loved......along with the chicken and noodles that she made from scratch!!! He got to see his cousins again... which was a bit overwhelming. After eating seconds of the chicken and noodles he said that he was done. The girls immediately tried to get him out of his chair to go downstairs with them and play. He quickly responded by shaking his finger in their faces and saying "no, no, no"! :) He wasn't going anywhere with them... and he didn't. He stayed right in his chair, next to El, and drank his water. When the coast was clear he came over and sat with me while I ate and that was when he tried the beef tenderloin and ate quite a bit of that too. It was clear that he was getting tired and so we packed up and went back home to go to bed.
This picture was him in his p.j.'s. After getting ready he wanted to try on Kayla and Isaac's shoes, AND THEN HE SPOTTED THE HAT!!!! Oh my goodness.....he saw that hat on Isaac's dresser and jumped up yelling in Amharic and ran to where the hat was pointing and yelling in Amharic, "hat, hat, hat". He got the hat and this is the picture of him after he put it on. He looks a little happy, don't you think! And yes, he went to bed with the hat and of course his flashlight! It only took him about 5 minutes to fall asleep. He was so tired, as you can imagine.
