If you have never been to the Pike County Fair you have got to try it out. I haven't found a fair that is better than this one! It is small but has everything that the kids love... even the right kind of Hawaiin Ice which is important on a 93 degree day. The kids got to be in their first ever tractor pull (that was fun)! Isaac won 3rd place and was very proud of his trophy AND he gets to go to the National Tractor Pull in January... never knew there was a National Tractor Pull... but there is and we'll be there. What greater honor could ever be bestowed upon a 5 year old boy then to be able to go to the National Tractor Pull! He told me that he needs to start practicing :-) Here's a video of Ty and Isaac trying out the slide. You would think that it is Isaac's first time on a slide too! :-)

The kids got to pet a real, live cow! They were so excited and Isaac and Ty had a pretty deep conversation about where the milk comes from... Isaac will tell Ty anything just to gross him out and vice versa! They spend their days trying to thoroughly disgust each other and today they pretty well accomplished it... it took a day or two before either one of them would drink milk again. I think Isaac even grossed himself out which served him right!
