It's terrible, but these are the only 2 pictures I took on the whole vaction! I don't know what I was thinking! We had such a wonderful time, and I just forgot about taking pictures. Actually, the kids were never around I am not sure when I would have gotten their picture anyways.
We went to the Word of Life Campground up in Schroon Lake, New York. We were in the mountains and stayed in one of the cottages. My family came and some friends from church were there too. The kids rode bikes everywhere, and the first day there, Ty told me that, "I love my new home"! He enjoyed himself so much that he told me he was going to stay. The kids had so much to do to keep them busy and therefore, it was a break for the parents! The first night we had a fire and roasted marshmallows. The kids all played games in the dark with their flashlights and miraculously, they only came out with a couple of minor bumps and scrapes.
The rest of the week, they rode bikes some more, swam in the lake, boated, rode horses, went to classes and white water rafting, and... ate PLENTY of ice cream! All this made for a GREAT week!!! And Ty did come home with us after all (I was wondering) and he was excited to come home and give Minnie a big hug! :-)
