Happy Halloween!

It was Ty's first Halloween and my sister asked if he understood what Halloween is all about and what he is supposed to do. Well, you might think that we would have to had explained it to him, but the nice thing about Ty is he can figure out what he deems important enough to figure out! He knows all about Halloween and trick-or-treating. . . he has memorized "Trick or treat smell my feet give me something good to eat, if you don't I don't care I'll pull down your underware". . . he even has told me what he wants for Christmas and understands about getting presents and all . . . BUT the strange thing about Ty is that he can't seem to remember his numbers up to 10. . . he can't remember which letter is A and which is B. . . and don't even attempt to have him memorize anything that doesn't have underware, stinky or other "potty" words in it! It's enough to drive me right out of my mind!!! That's the fun part about adopting a poor little orphan. . . they're smarter than you are! :-)

Anyways, here are some pictures of the kids getting ready for trick-or-treat. It took the boys all afternoon to decide what they were going to be and FINALLY, they decided on dalmatians so they could look alike. Kayla went as a ghost so she could scare everyone! :-)

Ty tried on his outfit from Ethiopia. He would never have anything to do with it before, but thought it was o.k. for a minute anyways!

Ty, Isaac, Kayla, Grace & Rebecca

They did pretty well, despite Ty getting a hole in his bag and loosing some of his candy. :-)
