Learning to swim!

Yesterday, my sister Christy took my kids and her kids to the pool while I went to a meeting. When I got back, Ty had something to show me... he taught himself to SWIM! Christy said he was watching all the kids swim and finally just let out a sigh, took his tube off and dunked himself under. She said he just got so sick of watching the kids and figured if they could do it so could he! Why not?... every kid I know teaches himself to swim in a months time!?! :-) Kind of like teaching oneself to ride a bike, learn a new language, challenge a bull, adjust to a new family and culture... I guess swimming IS no big deal!



Of course, Isaac couldn't be shown up so he took to perfecting his stroke and swimming laps in the deep end! As their mother, I have to say that I am impressed and proud of them... neither one of them have even turned 6! Did you hear Ty, in the video, asking me if he could do it too?... I am sure that next month I will have video to show of Ty swimming laps int he deep end. :-)
