Here are pictures of today's catch!
Isaac has been wanting to go fishing for awhile now. Actually, he has been telling me that he wants to be a "huntin' man, a fishin' man, a golfer, a football player, a basketball player... you get the idea. :-) He loves sports! Well, we got him a fishing pole this week and he has been practicing casting in the back yard, and so far, has only caught the trees. This weekend El told him he would take him fishing... well, being from Europe... he wasn't exactly brought up fishing and hunting. So, he studied about fishing on the internet and they were heading out.
Well, after Big Jon found out, he said he would teach them all to fish. He loves fishing, Ty loves Big Jon, Isaac couldn't wait to go, and El was thrilled to have someone along who knew what he was doing... it worked out wonderfully and they had a GREAT day! As you can see the boys caught a bunch of blue gill, Big Jon caught a bass and El hooked on more bait then he ever wants too again! :-)
Isaac began catching fish quickly... due to his practicing this week and Ty just sat and said, "No fish come Ty, No fish come Ty". It really didn't take too long for the fish to start biting and then he got excited too. Isaac quickly tired of fishing for the blue gill and moved on to the bigger challenge... bass fishing. Unfortunately, he didn't catch one and Big Jon thinks he might have lost his biggest bass yet... the fish broke the line... sorry, Jon.
Overall, I think they had a pretty good trip and it all ended well with some Rita's Italian Ice!
