Back to Normal!?!?

Well, life is back to normal... if there is such a thing around here?? :-)

Ty's back to school. . . which he is LOVING! One morning I asked him if he wanted me to be his teacher and he promptly replied NO, but that he does like both me and Mrs. Sayers (his teacher). I was glad to know that I am right up there with another lady that he met only 4 weeks ago! :-) This past month he began recalling his original Ethiopian language, Woolitan. This was very unusual for him because he appears to have difficulty remembering things and had quickly forgotten his language months ago. We would ask him periodically what different words were and he would always say, "I don't remember" and then we would tell him and he would say, "Ohhh, I forgot". Interestingly enough, a few weeks ago my Grandmother passed away and we were at her viewing and he was sitting with me and began telling me what purse, shoes, sweater, etc. were in Ethiopian. I was obviously surprised and caught off guard and told him I thought that he couldn't remember any Ethiopian and all he could say was, "I just started remembering". We still aren't sure what happened or if the funeral triggered anything, but he also told us that in Ethiopia people die and just stay on the ground and then someone takes them away. Who knows? But it is interesting!

Well, Kayla, Isaac and I are back to homeschooling! Which we LOVE! :-) The other day we were talking about what were new year resolutions and I asked Kayla and Isaac what would be a resolution that they would like to make this year and here's what they had to say... Kayla said, "Play with Katie more" and Isaac said, "Play more basketball and golf" They are funny! :-)
